The Westlake Marching Band is open to anyone who wishes to participate, but it is not a requirement to be in the Westlake High School Instrumental Music Department. It is, however, a requirement to be enrolled in another ensemble in addition to the marching band. The Marching band meets two evenings a week, with occasional extra rehearsals on Saturdays. The Marching band is the most visible part of the Instrumental Music Department and in addition to performing at field tournaments, the Marching Wolverines also performs at rallies and all home football games. We have a very unique relationship with the administration and athletic program at Westlake High School. There is a mutual respect for how hard everyone works and we are very supportive of one another.
